... took her spot. We make our way to Davos, located in Eastern Switzerland, the site of the Swiss alpine marathon, and at 5,120 ft, the highest city in Europe. The streets are packed with people, most wearing hiking boots or high end running shoes. A contrast from Zurich, where most of the women wore heels, sandals or ballet flats. The first steps in the water were surprising as we could't feel anything, nothing cold in fact. It slowly manifest itself as we started sinking into the river. We quickly arrived near the first drop. Stefan, as professional as pedagogue, belaid us one by one. Everything went smooth.
