    ... and have dinner together. It's beautiful in the summer, but how she described the winter really makes me want to go back. The wolves come down from the hills along with various other wildlife, the lake is frozen and they drive over it, while I was there they just rocked up in their boats for a pint at the local, then drove home. Its a wide lake!

    ... on the day. 2) It isn't really a tour, there is no guidance. Basically all it is is paying for all the tickets in bulk. They set a time and you go all the way through on the transportation...all day. When I say all day, I mean all bloody day. Started at 8:43 from Bergen, to catch a local train to catch a one hour bus, to get a two hour boat cruise, to a train, and the finale...another train! 8 hours of back ...

    ... Eventually we came to Aurland fjord. Now looking at my ipad maps, it is 224km from Aurland to the norwegian sea. But thats by road, I'm not sure of the distance as the crow flies, but its a bloody long way. And yet here we stood, at this massive body of salt water.
