... The tour guide told us that Cork has been hit especially bad by the recession, but in the last few months it has been starting to come out of it. It's kind of crazy to hear about the history of the country because it goes back so far. It's so different from US history since that only goes back to the 1700s. The Blarney Stone is at the top of the castle. You have to sit down and bend over backwards to kiss the stone below you. I made sure I went further down than then other people up there. I guess one advantage of being tall. Don't think I caught anything from the experience.

Also walked around the grounds and saw the house they live in now.

... a qui j'ai parlé m'a dit qu'ils engageaient, mais la personne à qui je dois parler ne sera de retour que mardi. ... a touché mon bras... Rash! C'était possiblement de l'herbe à puce ou un certain équivalent. J'ai essayé de ne pas toucher à mon bras pour ne rien contaminer et j'ai pris une douche dès que j'ai pu! Ça va mieux maintenant! Bon, je sens que j'ai oublié de nombreux détails (mon chèque a vraiment eu toute mon attention), mais je suis trop fatiguée pour que ça m'importe! ... Yesterday we set out and drove southwest to Dingle. That is a lovely seaside town. We got to drive thru a mountain pass (where I got out and climbed some large rocks for a bit). We did a bit of driving thru the Ring of Kerry...but not much...we headed to Killarney and went to the Ross Castle (an old 14th century Irish castle) where we took a tour inside.
