    Where do i begin to explain todays events! The day started as every other so far, get up pack up van and head towards the I-10 East. Fuel was running low and the Best Western was right next to a Pilot gas station. Matty was driver, im not sure if he thought i was stayin in the car while he went to pay for the fuel but i was going in aswell for some juice, he shut his door i got out and locked the doors before i shut mine.     ... We bowled up to ask if anyone would mind if we parked here for the night. They turned out to be from Georgia and one guy (Vic was his name) offered to tow our canoe up the swift looking river so we could float down again. He was bearded, scarred, over-aled and about 70 years old, his flat bottomed dingy had the same look. It was pretty late but he was so keen to take us so I suggested we just go for a look in ...

    We are up early to head out at 7am to get STacey and Geoff to the airport.. It is a sad goodbye and they wish they could head out on the road with us in the RV but unlike us Work Calls! Then back to campsite to leave at 10am...
    We are now officially "heading home" as we point the motorhome North West and it is like 2 horses who can sense they are "heading back to the barn" and they are straining on the reins!

    Rain rain go away! Hoping it lets up some before I head out around 1400. 1200 update: dropped Marley off at his vacation spot. I think he'll have a ball playing with all the dogs and having company 24/7. Car and trailer is loaded, almost done cleaning the house, then we will be on our way in about 1-1/2 hrs.
