      ... to Bandung but it was so packed. So we decided not to go in the end. Headed for lunch at about 12 at kampong Daun, it's a really nice place and each family is assigned to a "kampong" each.       ... home are absolutely essential for us. Little things are triumphs here! Knowing how to say "go straight through the gate and turn left" is pretty impressive. I can even ask people to repeat what they've said, to apologize and to bargain with vendors for the price I want. It's all getting there, and I'm happy that I've at least managed through it.
