... rides in the Village. We left the track about 5 after upgrading our tickets for 10 Euros each (worth every Euro cent we discovered over the next two days!) and headed back to our B&B for a Greggy dinner.
The next two days were spent at the track from 9:30 to 5pm and we believe the pictures will tell the story better than words.

... cliffside and the tower, it's pretty impossible to attack. Any archers at the top would have hours to pick off any soldiers that tried scaling it. The soldiers would have a very difficult time climbing and not falling, and by the time they got to the top, they'd be so tired they would just roll over and beg for mercy. From this view, it's obvious why San Marino has been able to maintain independence.
On Friday, we traveled by train and walked in the rain.
Even precipitation is lovely in Italy.

Our first couple of nights in Greece were spent in a place called Alexandroupolis where we had found a campground that was open, which turned out to be a bit of a wonder in Greece, but it gave us the time to have an admin day, catch up on emails, blogs and also to do some washing.
Whilst there, we also caught up with some of the Dutchies that we had met in Turkey (travelling in an off-road expedition truck) and also met some Germans who were on their way ...
... enjoying stunning views and absurdly cheap wine. After a couple of hours, we had no real choice but to find the bus stop and return to the hotel where we had the best meal of the holiday. Our only real mistake was that we should have taken the bike up to the town so we could come back when we were ready. We went to bed with another country crossed off the list and another micro-state to visit the next day.
