My third day I caught a bus to the neighbouring valley of Bohinj, with Bohinj lake in the centre, this lake is absolutley stunning, it's less touristy than Bled, it's larger (it's immense!) and it's set in such a beautiful setting (amongest the Julian Alps!). This is a great small town, where they actually choose to not speak english. We went from the restaurant to bar to wedding to bar to restaurant to bar (the Black Stuff) etc. Eat, Drink, Sleep repeat for a few days. It was a beautiful wedding and a great town.

The train from Bled arrived in Nova Gorica at 9pm. Unfortunately this is a rather small border town, certainly with no tourist information, nor anything open from what I could see at that time of night. All I had was my faint memory of the map I had looked at in someone's travel guide in Bled, and the address of the hostel I was trying to find. went to slovenia from zagreb and found i had noone to stay with so i went to ajodscina for a night then to nova gorica which was a border town with italy so i got to go to italy! :D my first hitchhiking also, its no problem here in slovenia, everyone does it.
