After attempting to charge us extra for ac they must have felt bad and brought the remote up. No English meant some fun charades although am still unaware of some of what she meant. Great Buffett feed at the local hotel, got kicked out after drinking more than our share of beer, I don't think he understood when we said we were nzers. Great star gazing on the beach. A long way out from split was an fun adventure.

... water and all the fish started to eat it. Tom then tried to catch the fish but he didn't catch any and came back onto the boat after a little while. We then sat at the front of the boat and they started going home. It was very calm at the start then the wind picked up a little and we started going a little faster. All of a sudden it started to rain and we got caught in a storm the waves were very big and there was very heavy rain. Tom and I stayed ...

... town & beyond. They'll even assure you that the stairs up are good for you, truly it isn't that bad. I've promised to send Nano twenty guests so I'm counting on all of you to go and made sure he doesn't hunt me down... ;). The place is great for a laugh. Be sure to help him with his English, Haha, I've dropped you in it now my friend.

... and I went over to a little vegetarian fast food place I'd been eyeing off and ordered some food. When it was ready we took it back to the hostel to eat. But it was pretty average and disappointing. Not even vegetarian places get vegetarian right in Croatia!! So we hung out a while longer using the wifi and watching TV in our room. We watched a movie with Steve Carrell that we thought was going to be a comedy, but wasn't, then eventually went to ...

Everyday Use

... stretched on and on. We seemed to be the only tourists and scampered about. There was the occasional information board, but it seems that the people of Split are content to leave Salona there along the highway: no entrance fee, no workers, no signs forbidding climbing, eating, or anything else. The most impressive part of the ruins is the amphitheater - with a laundry line next to it. Again, everyday use. Please read the Alice Walker story.
