After attempting to charge us extra for ac they must have felt bad and brought the remote up. No English meant some fun charades although am still unaware of some of what she meant. Great Buffett feed at the local hotel, got kicked out after drinking more than our share of beer, I don't think he understood when we said we were nzers. Great star gazing on the beach. A long way out from split was an fun adventure.

... of the same German efficiency) however the airport itself is a bit chaotic (a nice relief from said German efficiency). Apparently a new airport has been planned for some years (sound familiar?). Uneventful flight to Belgrade with Air Serbia, couple of hours at the airport and then a bus out to the outer limits where a plane with PROPELLORS awaited us. Some spectacular yachts, wooden sail boats and other sea-goers passed by, waving and enjoying the gorgeous sun, sea and water. We were very grateful that Marin said the weather was prefect for sailing – sunshine, calm waters and a very light wind.

Soon we stopped at the remote island of Solta, where we were greeted by the restaurant owner who threw out a rope to secure ...

... we have to hire sun lounges, the ones in Hvar cost 100 Kuna which is about $19.

I liked Hvar because we spent the whole day at the beach, and then got an icecream before we went back to Split on the ferry.

We went back to the apartment and Mum made us Cevapis, Chicken and Salad. I love Cevapis, which are little long burgers.

Hi All Not much to report today. Set out at about 10am to help Coote's scrub and clean the boat. We now know how big a 52' cat is after spending all day cleaning. Had a lovely lunch at the marina restaurant with a litre of red wine and 2 pizzas between the 4 of us, then back to boat to fit all the sun shades and awnings, finishing at ...

... stop either talking or moving us on....and mostly both. "Lunch will be in a few minutes" and "you will have free time soon" was her constant refrain....for hours and hours!!! But today is another day. The weather will be a little cooler and, goodness me, maybe even a little wet, and we drive to Plitvice lakes which is billed as a great highlight, being a UNESCO heritage site. We are looking forward to it. Ok, more another ...
