... had already topped off our battery before we woke up this morning. Must not be too many Teslas here now as we've been on the charger all day.

Today was the long travel day to start the trip, dedicated to getting as close to the East Coast as we could in one day. We covered 840 miles as we traveled out of Texas and then across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and then into Georgia.

Woke up around doing 8 and had breakfast in the hotel...pretty good actually. Then we were off to Wakinsville first which is a tiny village about 15 min from Athens. It's not big b.ut after a few wrong turns we found the Elder Mill covered bridge outside the town.. It's a pretty area with rolling hills and large cattle/horse farms.
