No internet tonight. Wrote the blog as a word document to cut and paste later. An interesting day. Although we have not driven far it was busy and we saw heaps.Left the hotel about 9.15. We were after the bus load of senior citizens and the breakfast foods were being restocked as we arrived. Had a nice change of omelets with red and green capsicum.

It was an outstanding adventure and we can hardly believe that it's over, but the memories of the Great Loop will be with us forever. We had many thrilling times and a few anxious moments, some experiences that we never expected, lots of clear skies and beautiful water, and visited so many wonderful places. Mostly, we will remember the wonderful friends we made along the way and hope that in time our "sailing lines" will cross again.
I woke up a little groggy this morning because I have been trying to kick a cold. My sinuses were clear, so I was confident that I would be okay to fly at higher altitudes. I slept in a little later than I meant to, and finally got out of bed around 9:00 AM local time. It was getting a little late in the morning so I scarfed down a ham and egg sandwich and headed on my way to the airport. I got a ride to the airport from Mr. Peterson and his father-in-law.

Thankfully, after dinner in Lincoln, Nebraska, the bus temperature began to fall and we were able to rest for the night.
