... but have in fact been exposed by the erosion of the mud stone cliffs around them. As the waves pound the boulders their distinctive veined pattern emerges and eventually the boulders become fragmented. Unfortunately we missed low tide so we couldn`t get to all the boulders but it was still a wonderful sight to see. It was only when we came off the water we realised just how strong the sun was, it was baking hot and Dean's back was quite red. Lester has been taking photo's of us all day on his digital camera and he put them all onto a disc for us to take home for no extra charge.
