So this morning we got the hire car, Graham driving, and headed out to the Palace of Knossos. Very interesting and parts of it are well preserved. I ended up losing the others somehow. I think it was because I was chasing a pair of boots for Juliet.

We then walked to the Church of the Virgin Mary. This is the main church of Chania. It is quite small in side but very pretty. After our visit to the church, Dennis and I walked back to the ship. We have walked at least 2 miles every day and sometimes as many as four.
Crete-the wine, the food, the hospitality and kitties! Crete is known for the cats-a pretty healthy bunch of semi-feral cats that are all over the island. A bit like the chickens in Kauai the cats are just a part of the backdrop. A few of them are exceptionally friendly and Auntie Charlotte has a few on her list to come home with her:)
