... party, as Nancy mentioned, we stopped at a French wine bar in town. The wine is a little pricey, but more than the wine I relished the air conditioning after dining and dancing on a hot humid night without a hint of breeze. My clothes were soaked in sweat. The humidity is formidable. I had a pair of socks out of the laundry that took two days to dry on the line. Without a breeze, with the heat and humidity of mid-day, you have too move ...

The other reason for staying longer was Rob (my friend living in Bangkok) plus 6 mates were coming to HuaHin for a long weekend. ... I will be honest in saying I was definitely freaked out, even more than when I was with the tigers! Don't get me wrong, monkeys are cute but these little guys were creepy looking, and were very sneaky! I was warned before to be careful because they are trained to go into female's purses/bags and take belongings; it can be anything from a bottle of water to a wallet, so if you go with a guy have him hold everything. My friend Jen did experience this ...
