Now though, in 2015, the bridges are open and you can walk across with no stoppages and no intrusions and buy a coffee in Chez Republic and walk over to Poland to drink it. The currency is different and we did a bit of comparative shopping - and found prices were different too.

70kms.... AM - A sad day, we are leaving the Czech Republic! Tomas (Top Bicycle Tours) told us two white lies, he said CZ was flat and that CZ was about 25 years behind other European countries. Wrong and wrong again! This country is NOT flat and is NOT behind anywhere else, I have not seen a car older than 4-5 years and all the tractors, headers and most trucks are all quite new. He said that just to have some fun with us. At breakfast, Lana made lunch (getting very good at quickly ...
