... again 5kms before Cadca, with no stopping until nightfall. I could have stopped in Cadca and spent the night there but I had to make more progress so I took the road leading to the polish border, and after another 15kms, in the town of Skalite, around 19:30, in the rain, started looking for a pension. I was completely drenched of course and even got full-body splashed with muddy water by a car passing ...

All these tracks were sealed, some better than others ...

... Up a very steep hill (had three today) and Tomas lied to us, he told us the Czech Republic was flat! Stopped in the village of Stary Jicin Palacov to visit the local Pekarna Anezka bakery which is famous for their home made genuine Walachian "frgal" cakes. These are a flat, pizza size cake with many different toppings, we had a poppy seed & cottage cheese version, it was very good. Off again heading east after "talking" to Kate on Viber on a street whilst ...

... building, don't think we could have gone out hunting for somewhere for dinner. It was hot again today, another 29C day, with high humidity. Started off with a beer of course, Diana (host) also slipped us some Slivovitz! Bloody hell, that is quite some firewater, Lana was going to tip her's in the garden then drank it all! Actually it is quite nice once you got your taste buds around it. But dinner was tremendous, a fantastic menu so I had venison and Lana ...
