    ... countryside up to the ski resort at Willingen. Unfortunately the weather deteriorated and became foggy and drizzly so we only saw the bottoms of the ski lifts.
    We then dropped down to pass by Korbach and on to our next destination, the river Eder and the Edersee - and another of the Dambuster's dams.

    ... but sadly not so impressive in winter. The L÷wenburg, however, looked magical with its snow covered turrets. It was possible to do a tour, but it was quite small and we wanted to push onwards down to the Schloss at the bottom.

    Eventually we arrived there and stepped inside the main building, a renowned art gallery with plenty of Rembrandt paintings, for a hot coffee. It would probably be great to have a picnic on the lawns ...

    ... to Hannover to catch the Vegan Christmas Markets (for the 2nd time running!!). Last year we were disappointed by them, this year they were much improved! Lots more Christmasy touches, little fires to sit around and benches to eat on. There were more stalls too, with lots of great choices!! After eating - a lot - we went to the Ernst August brewery to watch the football. Werder lost :(

    ... everything to be exactly the same as what im used to. Important to note that i am not complaining, i am simply sharing my opinion of what i have seen and experienced in contrast to what i am used to back home. Essentially in the academic department, i have high standards because of what i am used to back home. Nonetheless, this all adds to the experience and naturally, i am making the best of it.

    ... had moved into my own apartment/flat/dorm whatever you want to call it, in the immediate vicinity of the University. I loved that my commute was a 2-minute walk to the main area of the University. This for me is priceless. My nice single room is equipped with its own kitchen and bathroom - another thing which is priceless. I was indeed very happy with the apartment as well as its strategic positioning. ...
