... saw there was in the Museum in the Ghetto, which was located in one building that was used as a Children’s Homes for orphaned Jewish children. There was a display of drawings done by a number of different children that showed aspects of their lives – sometimes before the war, sometimes in the Ghetto, and some drawings were of the Nazis beating some of the adults. It was all done some simply and these drawings should have been of children ...

Early start this morning to travel to Teplice Nad Metují after a tram, a train, a bus, a train, & then another train 4 hours later we were there. It's a tiny little town with about 4 or 5 houses, surrounded by forest. In the forest are a whole lot of odd shaped sandstone formations. ... a bit lost, but we reached a pathway which was marked as yellow, but was pretty dangerous, between rocks, sometimes really high sometimes getting down.. It was amazing and a crazy good work-out :) Sadly we didn't take nothing serious to eat, so after 5 hours hiking (intense hiking) we were pretty tired. But we were sleeping in amazing old Camden, beds were comfortable and much fresh air, so everything was just simply fantastic!

The Adrspach-Teplice Rocks are an unusual set of sandstone formations covering 17 km˛ in northeastern Bohemia, Czech Republic. They are named after two nearby municipalities: Adrspach and Teplice nad Metují.

This was a visiting day: we saw some of Monika's relatives. Later in the afternoon we drove about 125 miles to her home town of Chocen to stay with her parents until Sunday. The weather keeps getting hotter and the forecast is hotter still!
