The Hungarian nights charged at the Mongol soldiers and just as they reached them the Mongols on their very nimble little horses divided and road around each flank of the Hungarian Knights and before they could do anything the Mongols had slaughtered them from behind. The castle fell to the Mongols.

We spent about an hour walking the castle and climbing to its highest point for a view of the Danube river below and the settlements on the far bank.

... into the heart of them. Arriving at a green plateau filled with small shrubs, streams run through them like viens. A towering waterfall draws my ear as I gaze at the remnants of snow from the past winter. Clouds whisk past the peaks as the mountains encircle me, a distant window of the town Poprad reminds me of the civilisation below. Trudging through snow we enter the bowl of the mountain. Purple and yellow flowers line the edge of the grassy granite path as we venture upon the mountain ridge towards Mt Chleb. The fresh alpine air cleanses my lungs from the metropolis's stain. I sigh a grand relief as I view distant towns, ahhhhhh. ... least enjoyable of the trip so far...
We then wandered some more, before stopping for lunch. Emma decided to get a "lamb" kebab type thing with these posh potato type things, which we shared, but the lamb didn't taste like lamb at all, and we suspect it may have got slightly lost in translation somewhere, though what it was we have no idea... the potato's were scrummy though!
We then continued to wonder around all the tacky soivenir ...
