Sensational Slovakia!

Being one quarter Slovak, I am bound to be a little biased about Slovakia and Slovak people. I will attempt to recount my time in this wonderful country without too much more hyperbole than I would normally use. However, seeing as I once referred to McDonald's hash browns as "to die for," sometimes you have to take my complimentary adjectives with a grain of salt and/or that I am rather easy to please. However, I did immensely enjoy my time here and I cannot wait ...

... churches and the architecture of the cottages. Next, we climbed Gublowka Mountain, which took about 1 hour each way. ... While the weather was prohibiting to see the mountain tops and to invest in chairlift or tram rides up the mountains, the precipitation never really amounted to more than a mist. We are hoping for a clearer day tomorrow to walk off our extra poundage before we are mistaken to be kielbasa! Northpointe gym will be calling our name as soon as we get home. Our place is the top floor of the building and resembles a ski chalet. We will have ...

Zakopane is like Polish diamond in mountains, that’s why many Polish people spend their free time here. They come long way, even only for a weekend, to breathe the fresh air and walk/hike/climb/sky in one of the most beautiful place in Poland. The mountain resort is only couple of hours from Cracow so if you ...
