... us, we were hoping to still be able to take in some of the nice views. After passing more warning signs about bears, we headed further and further up the mountain through the woods. The beginning of the hike was fairly steep, challenging my asthma, but the rest of it was easy and more enjoyable, especially since we didn't see any bears we had to worry about. ... this weather and it makes it very uncomfortable to get out and about since just about everything we do is outdoors. Neither of us wanted to do the tour in this weather, but about 15 minutes before it was scheduled to start, the rain stopped and we went to the meeting place to take the tour.

Sleeping on a train, or trying to, is a whole new experience for us. We get settled in and I lay there for an hour before I start to get used to the crickets-clack, the rocking and all the other sounds trains make. We arrived back at Brasov around 4, a bit earlier than expected so I made a quick walk into town and to a cable car in hope it was still operating. I there at about 4.30 and was in luck, I had just enough time to get up the hill get some photos and catch the last car back down at 4.45.
