There were several reasons for our trip to Italy. Adventure, yes. New experiences, sure. Relaxation,...eventually. Yet, if it needed to be distilled down into one, visiting the hometown of Lisa's beloved grandfather Rudolfo would be the one. Alfio Zippili is a distant cousin who lives in Corropoli with his wife Rita. Alfio speaks only Italian and Rita some English, Italian and French. They were our tour guides for the day. One ...
Saying goodbye to Positano was bittersweet. We would love to spend more time here, but more adventures await. Our journey today takes us to the Abruzzo region of Italy via: 1. The bus to Sorrento. Very interesting. After exploring for a good few hours we were all respectfully covered up to ...
The famous tower that leans! This was only a very quick stop in Pisa to but compete tourists :) we couldn't afford to stay much more than an hour anyway because it costs an insane €200 an hour to park in the car park around the corner from the tower. It was pretty cool to see it but it would not be something that I feel I would ever need to see again. We have been so lucky with the weather it has been absolutely ...
