I'm starting to understand why people go to NZ and RAVE about the beaches.

Today I’m on my way to spend three nights on the 'Italian Riviera’, for my Easter break. According to Wikipedia, this area is "The Italian Riviera, or Ligurian Riviera (Italian Riviera ligure) the narrow coastal strip which lies between the Ligurian Sea and the mountain chain formed by ...

... I got back in the car again. Because I didn't take any photo's today I thought I would share some of Dave's foodie snaps he has been taking. After 7 hours walking I was ready to hop on the train home. ButI'lll be back Genoa! ...

We turned off the motorway, £20 tolls thanks and headed inland. Wow what a difference. It is such a mountainous countryside and the roads became narrow and winding, I wondered initially why Ken said it would take an hour ...

Started the day out right with a bread run and a walk up the mountain behind the Villa. You have to be careful. Italian drivers and windy roads, but with a little common sense you can enjoy an early morning. It's not quiet here like most European cities that I remember. People are up and working. The villa behind ours that you can see from my room is so interesting. As I have mentioned before it has a Moroccan feel to it. Next to it is a villa named "Palazzino", or of course, Little ...
