... that I am almost fully recovered of the antics from the night before I continued to walk up another massive hill to see Lombard street. I would hate to live on or near that street as the amount of people going to see it is stupid. The views from here were pretty good given you could see the bay and Alcatraz. In all objectivity it also seems crazy that people are attending and paying to be shipped to a prison here..and it's even fully booked one week in advance! But it is not a prison it's Alcatraz! I wouldn't wonder, if people would try to break in there these ...

Unfortunately, F. Wharf was a big disappointment for us. Horribly touristy and full of cheap souvenir shops and expensive restaurants. Not our scene at all. Pier 39 was slightly better but still not really our scene – apart from the sea lions which lay about on pontoons arfing at each other.
