... large towns on the way up and on the lower slopes everything is very lush and citrus groves abound; honey is produced in large quantities and olive groves are numerous as well. As we climbed higher and the roads became hairpin bends the landscape changed to forests of pine, cypress and deciduous trees. The colours of autumn were stunning. ... Owner Fabio is a nice bloke. Pretty basic with 20 year old 12inch cathode tv and no condiments in bathroom, but clean and tidy. Used to be his home, and is actually 2 units joined together. He went to VOT once, when he was a school kid. Doesn't seem interested in going that far again. He now lives in nearby village 10 min drive away. Smallest shower ever, with 15 inch gap to enter, but through bathroom to a nice balcony ...

... 8364;8, bargain and delicious, I had spaghetti and clams. Afternoon siesta as shops are closed from 1pm to 5pm. Bought some items for dinner in our room. A great day. 12.11.14 Cefalu Sicily. Good nights sleep and a nice breakfast. Headed into the old town for some shopping and look around, had a coffee in the Piazza where a couple of tours came through.
