      A great Perth Hotel!

A small, business, boutique hotel I believe they call it. Room small, so glad Danny managed to upgrade us but the bed was ginormous, very clean and bathroom great. The staff on reception were always very helpful and the hotel is in a great position for everything. Within a few mins walking distance to the City, Swan River, bus and train stations as well as Northbridge. Discounted breakfast at Miss Maud's over the road - buffet style and everything you could ever want in a breakfast- bit pricey at €23 but we also took out some fruit and a cake for lunch. Would recommend this hotel.

... be easier on people. I also do not understand how people are allowed to drive for such a long time. Wake up time was between 5am and 6.30 am. Breakfast foods would be on the table, which means the guide had been up earlier. Then we had to clean up and cut veggies etc. for our lunches and get them ready for ourselves so we could eat anytime. At night after arrival at a camp or a backpackers dorm ( 2 to 6 people in a room), we needed to cook dinner and clean up ...

... lunch. We set off in search of the restaurant car at about ten minutes to one. We were told it was about five carriages back. (This is a 30 carriage train!). After a couple of carriages, we encountered a slow moving group heading down the narrow outside corridor. We joined on the end as did many other passengers behind us, all hoping to make the restaurant car before they ...

Once we'd reached Exmouth, the group went our separate ways. Half the group returned to Perth on the bus on Sunday, which was due to take them a day and a half, while the other half flew back, some on the same Sunday, others on the Monday. I was one of the ones who would have a bit of a break before continuing my journey. I took this time to relax. do some laundry and relax some more.

It seem that the next part of Australia is written, so I end the week in Perth with a trip down to the museum for a dinosaur exhibit. The hall filled with plastic robotic models, information and kids with their brought along parents. Just a small hall there was a lot crammed in, but worth a visit.
