    A great Perth Hotel!

A small, business, boutique hotel I believe they call it. Room small, so glad Danny managed to upgrade us but the bed was ginormous, very clean and bathroom great. The staff on reception were always very helpful and the hotel is in a great position for everything. Within a few mins walking distance to the City, Swan River, bus and train stations as well as Northbridge. Discounted breakfast at Miss Maud's over the road - buffet style and everything you could ever want in a breakfast- bit pricey at €23 but we also took out some fruit and a cake for lunch. Would recommend this hotel.

Made our way to the Cultural Centre in Northbridge and had breakfast there. Great value and chatted to the owner, a lady of Greek origin who ran the cafe with her husband. Her husband, she said, had his head in Australia and his heart in Greece and their plans were for their children to take over the cafe and spend 3 months of every year in Greece …

After a 7 hour flight from Zurich to Dubai and a 11 hour flight further on to Perth I was glad when we arrived at the hotel, checked in, could freshen up and off it went to dinner before we had a good night's rest.

Alarm set for 3.30am and down to the lobby for our Singapore Stopover transfer which turned up exactly at the appointed time of 4.20. So, a reluctant goodbye to Singapore which was an all round brilliant place to visit with its great transport system, good food, interesting sights and polite people.

... hour. It was just after 5pm when we headed into the CBD for the Winter Supper Club, it's an event held in the Perth Town Hall undercroft and foyer on the last Friday of every winter month. It is a classic food market with stalls selling native Australian bush tucker, French Crepes, Spanish Paella and Churros and so on. It was a lovely little market and very busy too. There was also some live entertainment, a singer by ...
