      I totally forgot to mention two really neat parts of our day yesterday. So, here they are with some neat pics too!

      First, during our walk along the city wall we found an exit with a long (and steep) path to the river valley below. From our B&B room we can see the cute village houses down there, so we figured we might as well check it out. For some reason we just keep choosing to walk up and down sleep hills and stairs!       ... our burritos that we had in Heidelberg looked more like pita pocket sandwiches and our eggrolls that we had in Rothenburg looked more like burritos. Who cares, they were all delicious!

      This morning we woke up to the smell of rural Germany and realised that the building opposite our guesthouse was in fact a barn.
      We had over slept, so quickly got ready and went downstairs to enjoy a delicious Bavarian breakfast. Our hostess was lovely. We left with full bellies for a post breakfast walk around the town.
