    ... a bag of pretzels. Maybe this would keep us from starving before we arrived in Rothenbuerg at 8:00 p.m. We would be later getting there because of missing the last train by 5 seconds. Oh well, I could satisfy myself by remembering that we’d be in our quaint little medieval city of Rothenbuerg where we could get a good supper.     ... much in awe as MJ and I were (even though we have been before). There is something magical about Rothenburg. Even found the puppet show theatre where we attended with our gang so many years ago (the puckfest weekend - who could forget).

    Another Bavarian lunch with wine or beer and soup, bratwurst with sauerkraut and strudel for dessert. It never really gets old.

    ... Gasthof was as downtown as possible.

    The mood was Christmas as it was chilly and the typical German overcast day. The decorations about town were Christmas colors. We entered many shops, especially devoted to Christmas. The ornaments were unfortunately outrageously expensive or likely made in China. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the town.

    ... The museum is excellent and very well set up to cater to all audiences. We each got an audio system except Alain, who has a book!! I found the most interesting items on the recordings were aimed at children.......maybe says more about me than the recording!!
