We woke up in Innsbruck this morning with a few bruises - the beds were under a tilted ceiling and both my dad and I hit our heads a few times. There was free breakfast served which was wonderful! Once we checked out we had to make our way back to the parking garage and figure a way to get out of there. It was a tight squeeze but we made a pretty good team. ... reached the base of it; no wonder it was never able to have been taken over by force! Also, once on top, it feels like you're in another small village. Apparently when the city would be attacked, the people would take refuge in the fort and live life normally, complete with running water. We were also able to take a tour explaining the history of the fort as well as seeing some incredible views of the city below ...
