    ... shut early. Highlight was my first visit to ikea. But I regretted it almost immediately. Once you're in you're almost trapped! We headed back to the hotel and took in the scenery in the way.     Then onto Hitler's holiday house, Eagle Nest, high in the mountains. It was absolutely wonderful and the view was incredible. Hitler didn't actually like the place much so there wasn't heaps of history but the 360 views were amazing and I did a little exploring in the rocks. Not too cold as I was still in shorts, but very pleasant.

    With an early start from Munich, we boarded a train to Salzburg, Austria. Although it was drizzling, we were able to make the most of the day and explore this beautiful city. With the train station being a few miles from the heart of the city, we were able to stroll along the Salzach River and explore many of the local vendors along the river.
