... so no pics will do it justice (I took video though). So instead of a snow pic, I have attached a special photo I took today at the zoo.

Then after that excitement I got the funicular up to the fortress and my battery died after 3 photos so they are not very good but it was worth it to get a video of the Pumas.

Now am hoping for some sun tomorrow which is my last day in Salzburg. I wanna see those magnificent mountains.

... it snowed! It was only tiny flakes blowing in the wind and but it went on for a couple of hours and I was ridiculously excited, having pictured Salzburg in the snow for months! It didn't stick but it was still pretty magical to have it fluttering around me as I walked along the Monnschberg ridge above the old town. Although no snow, I'm almost as excited about the prospect of seeing some sun tomorrow, as I have not seen one bit of sun since I left Sydney. The last tiny patch of blue sky I saw poking through clouds was in London, but haven't seen the orb since I left home. I'm doing the touristy places tomorrow so hopefully I will have some amazing views ahead of me.

We visited most of Salzburg's many churches, which are scattered around Old Town. While none are as grand as the Dom, they are all fairly impressive with their towering architecture and many frescoes and statuary. And all of this walking made us thirsty, so ...

... more frustration on my part than you can possibly imagine because now I was obsessed with finding this dag blasted meadow) we finally found the location.

So with that, we set the stage, Cheryl did her twirling and then I made her do it again because the original video has me laughing so hard the camera shook up and down through the whole thing. With the second take we called it a wrap … and only after we replayed it did I realize our mistake …. I forgot my ...
