... the lake to St Bartholomia church where we disembarked and walked around for half an hour before returning. The ferries are very quiet as they are electric, powered by batteries. The first ferry we took was 20m long and had 4 tonne of batteries that are re-charged overnight and the second ferry was smaller. Mozart's family lived in a third story apartment in Salzburg. We spent a long time touring the apartment, where his family lived for many years, and where Mozart was born.
