When we finally arrived in Prague, we were absolutely exhausted. Luckily, the charming Irish lass at the hostel informed us that we had the entire dorm to ourselves for the evening, so we would actually be able to sleep. It was now 8pm and so after a quick wok dinner (authentic Czech food ;) ) we passed right out.

The following day we wasted no time and set out to take one the free walking tours around the city. We learnt an ...

It is a very, very well run system and it is not finished yet as I read somewhere in the last few days that the Green line is being extended to yet another station somewhere near Petrin Park. The remarkable thing about the Praha Metro, and the ...

Day #1 European trip

A travel blog entry by judysadventures on Aug 01, 2013

Isaac, Abby and I left the Portland airport at 1:35 pm today July 31st, headed for Amsterdam and final destination Prague. The flight was uneventful and smooth. Amsterdam airport is huge, one of the largest airports I have been through. We had a 3 hour layover there before heading to Prague. We were met in Prague by a car that took us to our hotel Absolutum. Rooms are smaller than most but ...
