Success. Hotel was found. Alas - even though we were assured otherwise - no parking. Hmmm, well the least we could do was get the car nearer to the hotel and dump the bags. The only new fly in the ointment was the Italian Festival that was occurring on the streets outside our hotel. ... me forget about depressing thoughts surprisingly quickly, she vetoes the majority of the names I suggest though. We have a walking tour of Prague before the birthday celebrations. We walk to John Lennon's wall, a vibrant colourful piece of wall where we get an awesome group photo. We arrived in Dubai about 45 minutes early, which extended our transit time to well over 4 hours. It was nice to get a cup of decent coffee and walk around to stretch the legs after a long flight but there was a lot of waiting around. The narrow stairs lead above to a long passage displaying suits of armour and the tools of a torturer as the end tower was the prison.
