Bye bye Greek Islands...back to Athens

A travel blog entry by nicolapollard on Aug 06, 2014

... from the Greek tour will be there and I can go for a day trip down to Pompeii which is the only place in Italy that I still really wanted to see. Boom trip to Rome booked!! Decision made and fight booked at 1am ready to leave the hostel at 7am the next morning to fly at midday. Probably the most spontaneous decision I've ever made (I'm not very adventurous). Got no accommodation booked but I'm sure it will work itself ...

Paradise beach round 2

... gyros before heading back to the rooms to crank the air con and have a much needed nap! Was so good! After nap time we went back down to the beach for a couple of cocktails and to watch the amazing Brazilian dancers. The bar was absolutely going off! Paradise club plays every second night so tonight was our only chance to go. Since it was in the complex we were staying it was about a 30sec ...

We had dinner as a group then walked around the cute cobbled shopping streets. It was really relaxing! The next day was our boat day out. We met in reception at 9 and headed to the water. Our boat was like a pirate ship with a downstairs ...

Contiki - Mykonos (The windiest place on earth)

... I made it back to our hotel really quickly, and in one piece - but with a drunk fiancé. He tried to walk to the beach and thought it was our hotel. Silly Matt! The next day, Sunday, we had a free morning but at 3pm we were getting picked up to go to a beach party, at a club called Tropicana Club at Paradise Beach. I utilized the morning to get some waxing done. It was the worst waxing experience of my entire life, and has left me with ripped skin on my face ...
