... a lot smaller and shopping is limited. But we walked around town all evening, stopping for a delicious brownie crêpe to share. We took the taxi back to our resort and parted our ways for bed. I had a shower before I went to sleep and I'll never forget the grossness of the bathrooms. Apparently soap isn't a thing in Ios! Air conditioning is five euros a day, so we decided not to get it. ... David took us back to Parikia to catch the ferry back to Athens. Nami and Maria came to say goodbye to us and we left. The ferry ride was uneventfully nice and Franco's recommendation to take the bus to the airport was great. Brian felt that we would be winning if we were on the Amazing Race. =)

... so sacred that the ancient Greeks wouldn't let anyone be born or die on the island. Pregnant women and the ill were transported to other islands. At the top of the hill on Delos is a Temple of Zeus. We didn't make it up that far, but could see it from afar.
