... to be mostly for drinking and smoking. We moved down the road to what Laura thought might be a sports bar, past the Gyro place where the man with very hairy arms was slicing the meat in the window. It was left on the list as an option since it smelled really good, but the strange stare he gave Laura made us keep moving. The sports bar turned out to be a place for "interactive gaming" and had a sign indicating no one under 18 was allowed, so we did have to ...

You can tell you are back in Austria when the quality of roads greatly improves and the price of everything goes way up. We were treated to fantastic views of rolling hills, mountains, quaint villages and crazy drivers on our way to Salzburg. Austria is blessed with a lot of natural beauty (think Sound of Music). The grass is inexplicably green and little cabins with smoking chimneys dot the hillsides. At one point I asked Dom to stop the ...

... the Alps on my doorstep. But to the east lay Vienna which has been voted most liveable city and has such a rich culture to it. And then I must think, where would my future children best learn several different languages... haha

For most of you who know me, I rarely go swimming, and I was a little trepidatious, but what the heck, it'll be fun. The first thing that's different is there are no separate men and women's change rooms. Instead a whole area with row after row ...
