Innsbruck
... burger for dinner before heading back to the hotel. The hotel has a 'wellness centre' with an indoor pool, many saunas and relaxation areas. Ash was keen for a sauna but Lauren wasn't. Ash went up by himself and had a Finnish sauna experience. We had an early night ready to get up early to take a few more photos in the morning before getting the 10.36 train to Munich. Innsbruck was great! We would definitely like to come back again ...
Christmas Markets!
... past when a show was on. Guys were on unicycles doing really cool tricks, some even with fire. A small group of girls did an ice skating dance routine which was pretty good.
We were going to try and make it out to the Olympic skate ring while we were here so Dan could throw on some ice skates for the first time, but didn't quite work out for us, which is unfortunate, as that would have been heaps of fun.
There is not a hell of a lot to see here in Innsbruck, so ...

Flour was stored in a chest and the owner would smooth out the top layer and then make and indentation with a stamp. This served to identify the owner and also if it was disturbed, he would know that someone had stolen from it!

Linderhof Palace & Rococo churches
... throughout the gardens. There were two that were particularly interesting and seemed very out of place in a European palace complex. One was the Moroccan House and the other a Moorish kiosk. Both had been built for different International Exhibitions and since the king was quite taken with them, he bought them and had them, gotten then shipped to Linderhof, and then had them re-assembled there.
We headed back to the fountains in front of the palace ...
