... stuff and went back to the gondola, there we met the others about to also do the paraglide. The pilots of the paraglides soon arrived after about 10-15mins waiting, we then hiked up to the top and got all ready to go! Our little group walked through green meadows with cows that had cowbells and we stopped at a little chalet along the way and bought alpenkasse (cheese from the cows that they make in the mountains). We saw the farmer herding his cows to higher pastures...that was impressive but we decided he needed a dog!

... little Hotel Alpina in time for dinner, goulash soup, which quickly became a family favorite. Our rooms had balconies overlooking the Lauterbrunnen Valley (the valley of 72 waterfalls - really!) with the most unbelievable views of the mountains and their waterfalls. It had rained for a week before we got there but for the three days and nights we were there, it was sunny and clear, and impossibly beautiful, with wildflowers everywhere.
