... to go on their motorways this time. Did not see a lot of Austria at first as we spend most of our time travelling through tunnels. Some of them are over 10km long taking you through the mountains the easy way. Once they are out of the way you discover that Austria,s mountain area is a lot more rugged at first. Where we are at the moment is typical Sound of Music country.Very pleasant to the eye. Rick and I found a camping place soon ...

... that kinda expense & moved on ;-)

So from Linderhof we took the Deutsche Alpenstrasse (we wavered a few times to see interesting stuff but always came back to it) to Immenstadt, then a bit of cross country & on to Fussen. The temps had been climbing steadily & we hit 29c around Fussen. We didn't visit Neuschwanstein partly cos of the heat & partly due to time pressures.
