... into the bar/restaurant for afternoon drinkies and booked a table for dinner tonight. The restaurant is very rustic with wooden beams with creaky floors and little nooks and crannies everywhere. We have just returned from dinner at the hotel restaurant which is very well known locally for its fine food. As our good friend Lorraine would say, "I don't feel well!!" Reese - We drove to Mayrhofen and we saw the cows that were coming down the mountain with the farmers. There were a few really young ones and they all had crosses and big head pieces on their heads, and huge bells on their necks. We had a drink and some special sausage, after that we went to take the gondola up the mountain. It was one big gondola. ...
... to be in the apartment. Annie went off for swim in the very nice pool next door. Free for us, part of the apartment deal. Annie reports it was beautiful, warm and puts our public pools to shame. Now after a nice meal and more wonderful Austrian wine we shall settle down to Poldark.... sad I know.
