... to show that in front of Ellie! Some sections were actually pretty tricky... Graded 3 out of 5 ... Not bad for first timers!! She was very glad we had gone with a guide and we hadn't tried to attempt it alone. The view at the top was great and we enjoyed a hot chocolate in the cafeteria before walking back down to the Cable Car and zooming back down to the village. Via Ferrata completed and new Hunt Family Sport ...

The architecture changed suddenly to typically Alpine lodges with murals painted on the sides of the buildings, and the fields became meadows dotted with little rustic log huts, and the road went up and up. Actually going up was no real problem but coming down.... That was more of a challenge, especially on the very steep Zirlerberg Pass down to Innsbruck. ... at the top we saw that the walking tracks zig zagged the train tracks through the countryside and many walkers were using the train to break or extend their routes. In hindsight a train ticket would have added even more to the day. There are 2 further cable cars that travel up to 2260m, which would be great to explore, but we begin cycling ...

... rocks. The photo with the two red Gondolas in it, is the ski lift at the summit. Hundreds of people visit this summit daily, but none are more impressive than the cyclists ( bicycle that is, not motorbike) The Italians are cyclist bad a**es. All ages go up this mountain daily and seem to love the challenge.
