    From Vaduz, we caught an uneventful ride to Feldkirch, a quaint medieval town on the western side of Austria.     ... closed and will only open for dinner at 7:00pm. Life in Italy seems extremely relaxed. We coast through the pretty lakeside village of Malcesine, as see a “aperto" sign by a modest roadside restaurant (without a lake view). We screech to a stop and Cesar confirms that they must be the only restaurant, other than McDonald’s, that is open at this time in the afternoon throughout the region.

    Treas of course was a total nervous wreck. It was just like tearing down Conrod Straight at Mt Panorama in the rain as we blasted along at 120-130kph into an all-encompassing cloud of spray, while the locals ripped past with another 50-60 kph on board..... as we tore past the simply endless conga-line of trucks sitting precisely on 90kph up hill and down dale.
