... walked to St Peter and Paul Catholic Church to attend the 6 pm mass. This is the only baroque style church in Brasov, and it was built in 1782. It was gorgeous inside! The mass was in Hungarian, because most Hungarians are Catholic. There are a few masses that are in Romanian. I didn't know what they were saying, but like any Catholic mass, I could follow along pretty easily as the structure is usually the same anywhere you go. It was cold inside, and we all kept ...

We had a wonderful dinner at Prato recommended by the owner of our ...

... train that you could ride to take you to up the hill.. Because we weren't likely the look of the massive hill in front of us as just getting to the tractor was hilly enough. The fortress was less busy which was nice as we were able to explore and look around at our own pace and experience the outstanding views as we climbed to the top. The weather was also cooler today than the other day which made walking up big hills abit less painful. Afterwards we tried our hand at ...

... walking 20 minutes up hill.

The taxi takes us to the lower ticket office, but it is closed and we walk up half a km to the flat area on which Peles (pronounced Pelesh) Castle sits. The first view of the castle is stunning, and it only gets better the closer we get. We take great exterior photos of the genuine fairytale castle. We have to buy one adult and one senior ticket, 20+10 lei, but don’t bother with a ticket for photographing inside as ...
