... The grounds are free to access but in order to see the opulent interior you need to take a tour of the main floor or the main and 1st floor. We shelled out for the full tour and it was not worth the money. Just opt for the main floor. The guide that takes you around the main floor is fantastic and is a wealth of knowledge. The guide for the 1st floor clearly does not enjoy her job. It's a chore for her and she provides little info and little time ...

... The train was so hot when I boarded and eventually it cooled down some. People tried to sell me stuff before the train left. My favorite is the people who try to sell books. We found a great Italian place and had a delicious dinner before heading ...

... the hillside and castle block out the sun. The forest looms large on one side and the other side is a sheer drop off. The castle was originally a Teutonic knight fortress, that was later donated by the city to Romanian Queen Mary in 1920 for her medical work on the front lines during WWI. She renovated it and turned it into her summer getaway which gave it today's appearance. During the communist era it was confiscated, but maintained as a valuable site. Later, ...

... have been pretty darn cute.

I had another zombie day of wandering streets, losing myself in the maze of narrow alleyways. I took a nap around 4, because I can, jealous. Also because this jet lag is hanging on like a bad cold. Later I had a great supper outside of a local pub, where it was "Old Music Night" downstairs, old music being from the 1980s. I went down to check it out but nobody was dancing.

I'm staying in a tiny apartment cutely decorated with a ...
