        ... houses inside the defenses. There were schools, store rooms, arsenals - everything you need to hole up till the ravaging army had packed up and crawled back from whence it came!!

        If you visit Transylvania, and I strongly urge you to do so, don't just head for Bran, and definitely leave Bucharest as early as you can and head for the countryside. Its beautiful and has so much to show you. The rest of Europe still hasn't figured this out so come soon.

        ... Town we went. We stopped walked through an archway that I think was part of the old fortress wall. Upon closer inspection I think the was just a regular archway.
