      On Monday we had breakfast at the hotel before having our orientation walk of Munich. We were taken from the Hauptbahnhof to Karlsplatz, down to each of the churches, through the Marienplatz, with its two Rathauses, up to the Residenz and Odeonsplatz, the Hofbrauhaus, Viktualen markt and back to the Christmas markets at Marienplatz for a Gluhwein.       ... good tips about the area around our hotel and some good tips about Octoberfest. The best part we learned was that there was a fabulous market only a few blocks from our hotel.
