Got up and packed quickly as we had an 8 am train to catch to Koln. We want to stop there quickly to see the cathedral and then continue on to Bacharach. Hi everyone: Sadly we bid farewell to Murren, Switzerland and so far our favorite stop along our journey. Travel day
Left Amsterdam this morning to head to Germany. Several train connections - Amsterdam to Koln, then Koln to Koblenz, and then Koblenz to Bacharach. Very impressed with the 1st class train lounge in Amsterdam. Free drinks, a nice lounge, WC, and TVs. Picked up picnic lunch to eat on train.
