... day with my grandsons at the beach. It was fun to remember their visit as we hiked.
After a couple of hours we rounded the last ridge to find Benidorm at our feet. Perfect timing, now a stroll into town for lunch before we caught a bus to the tram and were on our way home again.
The photos can't begin to give you the view...you must come and hike it with us!
... snack were the solar boat docks during the season.
Finally we continued on through a rougher part of the trail...forging one stream via some stepping stones until we were on the long uphill climb back to Beriardá.

... I usually wouldn't swim in the beach if I was sober because it was all full of rocks and heaps of seaweed moss growing everywhere but we seemed to have a lot of fun anyway! Woke up when the sun was rising and looked out of our tent, saw the most amazing sunrise yet!! It was so so gorgeous. Sarah woke up and saw it too.
Our train was about 30 minutes late. I called Dany on my $25 pre-paid phone that I bought in the Madrid metro and at that moment when I connected with him, it went dead saying that I didnīt have anymore money left on it. What terrible timing! Luckily, I asked a lady on the train if I could borrow her phone for a quick call and then I let Dany and Maria know that I would be late and we made final arrangements for pickup.
