... the centre of town. However, the place that we find, about a mile along, is brilliant! We have a fantastic meal of freshly grilled seafood for a very affordable price. During the rest of our short stay, we find the hotel staff to be really helpful and friendly and enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast with lots of local ingredients and classical music playing in the background. ... of the bonfires....these are hundreds of bonfires in the streets of Benicassim. To hell with health and safety, in this small enclave on the Spanish coast, tradition wins every time! Most businesses and many homes build a bonfire within a small ring of sand and strike a match. By the way I have not yet come to the most dangerous bit!

What we have next is the Animals Parade. The link between this and the saints is rather tenuous but ...
