... well so we had a short, farewell stroll on the beach, with me wrapped up securely to cope with the wind and fine sand blowing about everywhere. Then I set off to drive the 80 miles back north. Retracing my steps felt a very negative step leaving me feeling miserable and then I began to get very hot and started to worry about whether I was getting a fever (to add to my woes)? - not at all - when I looked at the temperature gauge it was showing 24 degrees and I ...

Traumatic Times, Christmas Lunch booked, we arrived at 2pm, the restaurant packed full and the drink in full flow... Now because we were one of the last to take Christmas Lunch we were a course or two behind the others so when the music started and the senior guest started to dance it would appear this meant we were still eating our Turkey in the middle ...

Stayed on this campsite before in March this year with Mark. It's a great campsite, clean and well laid out, convenient for the town, two supermarkets within 2 mins and the beach 500yards away. The campsite restaurant is a bargain with Sunday Roast €5, happy hour 4-6pm €3.20 for a large glass of wine, pint and a bowl of peanuts... And then there's the Quiz and Bingo nights..! Two Fat Ladies 88..! We have made our reservation for Christmas Lunch and are very ...

... that different from soccer at home. At the first game, all the parents were lined up along the sideline,
cheering for the team, however there was one notable difference that stood out…they
were all smoking (and a few with a beer in the other hand, at 10:00am). For
those of you involved in Bernalillo soccer, or soccer elsewhere in the U.S.,
picture all those soccer parents you know cheering away, now imagine they ...

      It's been too long!

A travel blog entry by billiejago on Aug 27, 2014

... 8 months now, and I still feel there is so much more to see and do here. I love my life here, and I can't see me wanting to move on any time soon. Another change this year has been less travelling, more working! I am a hard worker whatever job I may be in, but this year I have saved a lot more for life's neccessities.. rent! I have lived away from home permanently for at least a couple of years now and with that comes many more ...
