    ... We had forgotten how much stuff we had sent over, and it was like Christmas come early unwrapped all of the boxes. First on the list was of course setting up the Christmas tree, everything else could wait. This is the last entry we will be making, and we want to thank everyone for reading and following our trip.     ... being able to try new foods we just wanted to have some simple food that we could throw together and it wouldn't cost a whole lot. We grabbed some pasta and had a nice and filling dinner. The rest of the night consisted of flipping through the channels that were all in German, attempting to figure out how the heater worked (which it kinda didn't) and attempting to keep warm underneath the blankets and layers we were sleeping in!

    Tuesday morning we drove to the Val da Camp (in the Bernina Pass). We parked the car and hiked in to Lungacqua Sac. Saoseo Refugio for the night. (Shane and I drove this road 7 years ago in rain so intense it was like driving on a river. The walking path we took to the lake actually begins next to the restaurant where we stopped for a rest! We had no idea of the beauty we missed.)

    The next (crazy!) idea I had was to tackle the Nebelhorn - http://www.das-hoechste.de/en/summer/mo untains/nebelhorn/ which is just a four hour drive away in the Allgäu. The point of this madness was that from the bottom (815m) to the top (2224m) is around the same climb as I will do in Nepal (up to 1420m!). This was definitely the most difficult walking I've done so far. It was so steep at times with a variety of terrains from walking on tarmac roads ...
