I use my interrail day of train travel to visit Kutna Hora in the Czech Republic before I catch the direct 4 hour train to Bratislava. The small town was founded on the mining of silver ore and by the 13th century it was producing a third of all European silver. When I think about the amazing experience I had in this little town I want to kick myself in the butt for almost not going.
Tanya and I set out at about nine thirty from Prague and caught the 697 train, which only took an hour to reach the town.
