    ... like a ski lift) up the hill to the Germania monument, built in 1871 for the reunification of Germany then walked the 5kms down the hill. Had a drink, then went shopping & back to the boat for lunch.

    The next part of he Rhine is known for its castles, they were amazing, the cloud then started to move in so went inside for coffee & cake, like we needed more food.

    Got a haircut, really impressed & only €18.

    ... over to Wash World and did laundry. Getting bad weather news from Wacken. They are experiencing quite a bit of rain. We went from 40 degree heat and no rain to 20 degrees and lots of rain!     ... scoffed some reasonably priced pasta at one of the towns street dining areas. The hotel was quite basic, but the tea making facilities in the kitchen made sal very happy. In the evening sal and I walked across the footbridge to Kamt and walked up the hillside to get a view back across the river to Zell.     ... t.  Once through customs, I get my boarding pass and walk to security. This gate agent asks if I want to go to my gate or the first class lounge. The diva in me shouts "the lounge" as if to say, "duh, *****". The lounge location, you may ask, not in concourse B. "Of course (not) in B." This, of course, is frustrating.
