    It took about 20 minutes to get our car, a small Nissan SUV. We had asked if this car had a big boot (trunk), and the Avis rep said it did, but it's not that much larger than the trunk in our little Volvo, but big enough.

    Back to the hotel, and had to negotiate to get a spot in the front, but did it. Grabbed our bags, loaded the car and checked out. Mark drove out of Berlin, with the help of the GPS. The GPS on this car is ...

    ... of a bacon n egg McMuffin and a couple of leisurely coffees using our trusty little kettle. At least the water from the tap was icy cold, so we had been able to keep our milk relatively cool in the bathroom sink yesterday and overnight.
