    ... clock on the town hall that does it's thing at noon every day. Flowers are everywhere. We're having a blast.

    Moved house to the Cosey Corner Hostel to do our laundry because we had 82 items and the other place charged by the item! 70 cents for undies!! Didn't realise the hostel was 4 storeys up and no lift. Near needed a change after the climb. Aussie bloke did our washing while we went touring. On what basis do you build a church. A rich bloke has a dream that Mary visited him on a hill outside Olomouc so he pays to build a chapel in the forest there. Heaps ...

    Early explore foraging for breakfast and getting orientated. Walked the river including the botanic gardens, followed by another Catholic museum. Such waste of money on gold marble Ivory and stuff to impress. Not sure that was on the Jesus plan really.     Travel day, not much to report. Spent morning trying to change a flight to Istanbul from Budapest. Not successful yet. Farewelled Iva with complimentary champers thanks to Martin the Bellboy!     Just a short walk across the road and you are right in the city centre which is nice enough for a wonder. Coming into the city on the bus I could see the very impressive looking castle, which is up on a high point looking down in the city.

    I'd read that Brno was a very industrial city, and one of these pictures shows the view from the one side of the bus station.
