We caught a taxi to the airport and picked up our new car.

We drove to Peniscola. It took 2 hours.

After 2 hours we were at our house.

There are heaps of cats. They look stray.

There is a REALLY big castle over the edge of the beach.


Each day we went to the beach and did flips off a ledge onto sand.

We left Barcelona in a taxi to pick up our car to drive 2 hours to Pensicola for a week.




This place is really cool because there is an castle right next to us and that is where we

... in full swing so luckily the GPS directed us around closed and blocked streets, eventually.

Toured the catedral which supposedly has the Holy Grail that Christ used in the last supper. Greg says ''just another cup".

Then we walked up (the boys ran) the 207 narrow, winding steps of the spiral bell tower to check out the city views.

Also had a stroll down Valancia beach. For us Valancia is just a city with not ...

My boss doesn’t want to meet me. Nice. Only piping up to offer criticism for the place I had initially chosen to live. Yes, quite the un-welcoming committee including being told by the secretary (when she did turn up for a meeting) that working there would be ‘Very very very very difficult’. ...

... down to try and make it remotely comfortable! The ground was very dry, the weather very hot, so it made for an easy first night in a tent. I awoke in the morning to the sounds of crickets and bird song. I zipped open the tent and saw just how stunning the scenery was- surrounded by mountains- perfect. September is beginning and work is slowly creeping in again. Where have the summer months gone? It is still so hot here, and never getting any less ...
