... strudel. Just the icing on the cake. A wonderful day was spent & back to our hotel. Dinner was independent tonight so we found a lovely Indian restaurant next to our hotel. Vespers & best meal since I left home. And Greg had a lamb dish & I had a chicken one. A lovely walk through one of the gardens before retiring & walking off our tea completed a wonderful day. ... drove the 300km to Amsberg, in the SE of Germany where we dropped the car off and were collected by the lovely Kari Anne who took us home , handed over the keys to Dulcie who was waiting faithfully for us at the kerb, despite wearing a couple of band-aids over her battle-scars, and then went out to a fabulous little local Italian restaurant where we had a sensational meal, a few drinks, and received a bill of 60€ ($ 90) for the 4 of us.... What a contrast to Oslo!
