... This stretches for approximately 10 kilometers, which makes it a short trip for my standards. But the trail itself is really amazing and every few hundred meters I had to stop to take some pictures. You walk along high cliffs and pass an old temple and two suspension bridges. ... cooking, this time for an interesting fusion of Japanese and English styles: a Japanese casserole. This involved Japanese sweet potatoes and beef, and demonstrated just how much Coco loved her time in the U.K - she`s certainly incorporated much into her way of life now!

Points of interest:
1. There are no fat people in Japan
2. Japanese is 129% harder to write than to speak
3. Japanese vending machines are the best in the world. And still there are no fat people.

... back here again. On the other side we didn't go up the cable car because I'm not great on heights so after a picnic sitting at the other end of the lake we got the boat back again. However I was really pleased with our decision that we'd seen enough of Tokyo in a single day and we should come out and try and see Mount Fuji. We'd been on a Shinkansen, a local bus for an hour past picturesque scenery and had a boat cruise on a lake and seen Mt Fuji apparently floating above ...

... that we ate whole by the chopstick-full. It took us a few minutes to decide on a restaurant and a few more to gather our courage for a new and slightly intimidating experience but once we were seated and the two helpful waitresses had explained how to order (in English no less) we were ready for anything. ... was following a computercourse on Windows and she had to leave as it was about to begin. At first i wanted to go back straight to the hotel but i found a nice path along the river and decided to follow it for a while.
